Dispatch Health seeks a dynamic, experienced and strategic leader to join DispatchHealth, an innovative and rapidly growing company in the position of Market Director for the Northern New Jersey community.

The Position

The Market Director, northern New Jersey will need to be a high integrity leader with a strong background of delivering results. He/she will understand the healthcare industry and recent trends and is responsible for executing strategic business plans to take the organization into the future. Working in a start-up environment, the Market Director, northern New Jersey will design and implement key processes in both the clinical and business areas. This position will help lead the evaluation, development and implementation of strategic growth initiatives to enhance all parts of the strategic plan. Preference given to candidates who know the Northern New Jersey medical markets and has a background in Marketing and Business Development.

The Market Director at Dispatch Health provides general management of a local office clinical dispatch center. The Market Director will support the clinical delivery team and perform standard medical back-office functions for roughly 25% of their time. 75% of their time will be focused on Business Development and Marketing. The Market Director will report to the Vice President of New Market Development.

The Market Director, northern New Jersey should focus on ensuring that all areas are operating effectively, that they are aligned with the overall goals and strategy of the organization. In addition, the Market Director will be outward facing in the community, regionally and nationally in terms of driving partnerships at these levels. This role offers a tremendous amount of latitude and visibility.

The Market Director must help the organization anticipate and respond effectively to evolving market and environmental trends.

Candidate Competencies/Qualifications


A master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, a clinical discipline or a related field.


10+ years of experience in a healthcare or related business field with demonstrated ability to lead teams and make her/his organization more operationally efficient and effective. Candidates should have several years of experience aligning teams with organizational objectives.

Track record of financial responsibility and strengthening financial performance.
