Position Summary

DispatchHealth is looking for a Clinically trained Support Ambassadors to join our growing CARE TEAM headquartered in the Denver area.

The CARE TEAM is critical to the success of DispatchHealth as this role impacts the patient’s first impression of DispatchHealth and supports our providers’ ability to provide on-demand clinical care. The CARE Ambassador is responsible for phone screening of the patient’s clinical request through to scheduling a visit with a DispatchHealth Clinical Team while maintaining excellent customer service.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • All components of acute patient screening including evaluation of symptoms/ chief complaint, coordination of secondary triage when applicable with Providers in the field
  • Coordination of day to day PA/NP and EMT patient volume thru screening Patient's concerns
  • Coordination of referrals for patients
  • Post-visit patient callbacks
  • Other responsibilities as identified

What you must bring to the table:

  • 2 years of clinical experience; EMT, Medical Dispatch, Medical Assistant
  • Medical Terminology Education
  • 2 Year Customer Service
  • Experience with Athena EMR a plus
  • Strong customer service capabilities
  • Dispatch screening
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to think critically in complex situations
